Published: 2026-09-12 Views: 39
Singapore’s corporate income tax rate is 17%, and tax exemption schemes on chargeable income mean the effective rate is usually lower.
Start-up Tax Exemption
Qualifying new companies enjoy a higher exemption on a portion of their chargeable income for their first 3 Years of Assessment. Property developers and investment holding companies generally do not qualify.
Partial Tax Exemption
Companies that do not qualify for the start-up exemption can still enjoy a partial exemption on a portion of their chargeable income.
Filing deadlines
- Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI): within 3 months after the financial year end (unless exempt)
- Form C-S / C-S (Lite) / C: by 30 November each year
Please refer to IRAS for the exact exemption amounts and conditions. We can compute your actual tax payable.
